About Athletic Boosters

The McLean High School Athletic Booster Club is an organization composed of parents, staff, alumni and friends that support all Sports by raising money to purchase supplies, equipment, uniforms and capital items beyond what the school athletic budget provides.

Many of you may not realize that the Fairfax County School District only pays for officials, coaches’ stipends and transportation to away games.  Booster funds provide program enhancements to improve the athletic experience for our student athletes.  The MHS Golf Classic is one of our continuing efforts to enhance our community through athletic competition and achievement.
Recently we have supported...
  • Purchase of new scoreboard
  • Turf field on our main Stadium Field
  • Bermuda grass Baseball field
  • Associated maintenance
  • Purchased a new Softball Fence
  • Paid for Coaches’ Clinics
  • Paid for Athletic Trainers’ Clinics
  • Bermuda Grass on the Practice

Funds raised this year will continue to support the McLean High School Campus Campaign providing additional improvements to the MHS campus.
